Sometimes, your browser doesn't automatically update the Yoyo extension version to the newest one

  • OR the browser needs time to detect the new Yoyo version, but you want to update it right away

From version 0.1.5, the Yoyo extension can detect if it's outdated. If you see the banner on our website telling you to do a manual update, please follow the steps below.

The process should be seamless.

Quick Note: You might see the prompt to update on the Yoyo extension but do not see the new version on the Chrome webstore. This is because Chrome needs some time to verify the production extension before publication.

Chromium Browsers

  • Type in your address bar: <browser>://extensions

    • Replace <browser> with chrome, edge, arc, ...

  • Turn on Developer Mode

  • You should see some options on the top left. Click on Update to make Chrome update all your extensions to the newest versions.
